We just finished reading a book

called number the stars and it was

one of the best books we ever read.

I totally recommend it to any

reader who likes action and history

combined, I guess you can call it

histacktion.

Now let us tell you

about our wonderfu

book.

In the book German soldiers take

over Copenhagen and guard every

corner in town. Just as Ellen and

Annemarie thought having soldiers

in there town was bad enough, little

did they know it was about to get a

lot worse.

THE BEGINNING sarah

Later in the year the German soliders made

concentration camps for jews including Ellen

and her family.

Instead of getting carried away to a concentration

camp Ellen and her family decided to hide in

Annemarie’s apartment.

After lying to German soldiers, skipping

school, and driving to Annemarie’s uncles

house to hide, the girls have been through a

lot, but the nights about to get a lot worse.

Annemarie and Ellen’s family decide that

sailing to Switzerland where concentration

camps don’t exist for Jews is their best hope

for safety

Two years later the war was over and most

things went back to normal, Ellen and

Annemarie’s families were reunited and

most people treated each other like friends
