• Family Connection is… • Highly configurable • Unique to each school site • Personalized • These factors enable schools and districts to align
usage with their goals and/or curriculum • Each student has an account that is accessed
with a user name and password. • Parents and guardians can also be given
access to an account related to their child or children. Parent access is more “view not do”.

• User roles can be customized per school site • Usage depends on the implementation plan or
goals of a school or district • Collaborative tools such as surveys and e-mail
allow for communication and sharing between schools and families
