Note the first entry is N or S, degrees range from 0-89, minutes from 0-59, seconds from 0-59, E or W, and distance in feet. The format for distance can not have a comma in the format, as this will cause the number to be incorrectly read. Distance recorded in poles or rods can be converted to feet by multiplying by 16.5. Bearings may be recorded in just degrees or degrees and minutes, but the input format must have a zero as a placeholder for minutes and seconds.
