I was born and raised mostly in Bridgeport and originally wanted to study creative writing. I have always been into creating as an artist, and more so as an author and poet. But finishing my high school career, I realized I liked to be more hands-on, and in all reality, I wanted to be able to make money doing something I loved; like anyone would.

When interacting with professors and students, I realized that graphic design was something I had wanted to do. The professors cared about their students and took the time to get to know them, to inspire them... me for that matter. I felt supported because they work in the field every day and wanted us to succeed in that same way.

Recently, I’ve freelanced remotely for SMSB consulting group in NY as a product retoucher. On a daily basis, I work as a freelancer under my own rules, working on saving for my personal studio as my clients are becoming consistent, and my name is becoming known. But of course, you can’t succeed without failing a few times. It isn’t supposed to be easy, it’ll be scary.
