About the middle of March of this year (unfortunafely I did not note the exact date) this star was 1m3 brighter than a I O ~ O star about 2' to the n. f. and om2 fainter than

April 3 0 I was unable to examine this region of the heavens till yesterday, when I estimated the variable to be om2 brighter than BD. +30?1336.

New Variable Star in Draco. A hitherto undetected variable star is BD. +67?1124,

whose place for I 855 according to the BD. is : RA. = 1 9 ' 9 ~ 5 4 ' Decl. = +67O 214.

this year I was unable to see this star with my 21/4 inch refractor. It must then have been fainter than ~ o m o , for I could always see with ease a 9m7 star not given in the BD. which lies about 10' to the s. f. of it. Yesterday, how- ever, the niissing object had reappeared and was oms brighter than the star to the s. f.

New Variable Star in Gemini. To the list of variable stars should be added BD. BD. +30?1336 (estimated magnitude, 8.5). On April 2 1 it

was exactly equal to its n. f. neighbour, and its rate of de- +30?1329, whose place for 1855.0 according to the BD. is: crease was then so rapid that on April 26 and 30 it was om2 and om3 respectively fainter than that star. After RA. = 6h 37"50fo Decl. = t 3 0 " 25!2 .
