Brantford- 10.1% of families live below the low income line. - Single mothers make up 4700 of our population - 4200+ emergency meals provided monthly- 1250+ use our local food banks on a regular basis

Our World...

India- Many parts of India were affected by Cyclone Phailin.- The cyclone took about 50 lives and destroyed

250,000 homes and 860,000 hectares of cropland.

Philippines- Many parts of the Philippines were affected by the

Typhoon Haiyan.- Haiyan took between 2,000 to 2,500 lives. 70 to 80

percent of homes have been destroyed. Millions of people have been affected by this disaster.
