Friday, May 5th

SENIOR OFF-CAMPUS EVENT

Items to remember…• Seniors who did NOT pay their Senior Fee will arrive on campus at

their usual time and follow their regular schedule.

• Seniors who PAID their Senior fee will go on the trip…you don’t have the option to stay on campus.

• The majority of Seniors Teachers are going on the trip, which means you are too!!!

• Once we get back to campus, early release students will be released beginning at 2 p.m. and depending on your early release period

• All Senior Day absences will affect exemptions.

• You will not be able to exempt if you are absent or get checked out on March 28th and/or May 5th.

Where do I go at 8:45 a.m.?Everyone needs their ID or a picture of your ID.

• Seniors who DID NOT Pay the Senior Fee

• Follow your regular schedule –Your senior teachers will give you more info. next week on relocations, but know that you ARE NOT going to be in the PAC. – you will be in your regular classes.

• Show up during your regularly scheduled class period.

• Seniors who Paid their Senior Fee

• Go directly to the Bus Loop.

• Look at the signs to see your bus number.

• Have your ID ready

• Student ID or Texas ID accepted.

• EVERYONE will be transported by bus.

What happens on the bus?

• Attendance will be checked as you enter the bus.

• You will show them your school or TX ID (you may show a picture of it).

• You will then sign the roster.

• You will be given a wristband with your assigned bus number written on it.

Items to know…• School Dress Code in Effect

• Backpacks Allowed

• Upon arrival at the Sports park, have your bags ready to be checked by the Assistant Principals.

• You may need to bring Sunscreen, Bug Repellant and a Hat for protection.

• If you arrive at the Sports Park in your own vehicle, you will be turned away.

Yes, you will have access to the pool….

• Girls - Only One-Piece Bathing Suits Allowed.

• Boys – Only Bathing Shorts allowed.

• Other acceptable swim clothing: tank top and shorts

• See Herrera, Joiner or Acosta for questions.

• You may choose to wear a grey or white shirt in the pool if the two options above don’t suit you.

• Bathing Suits only allowed in the Pool Area.

• You must change out of your pool clothing if leaving the pool area.

• You must be in dress code if you leave the Pool Area and move to other areas.

What is accessible to you…

• In addition to the pool area, you will have access to the

full sports park.

• Volleyball fields, Softball fields and Pool.

• You may check out board games in the concession area.

• Markers and coloring pages also available.

Lunch & Snacks

• Lunch will be provided for all students.

• Sandwich, Chips, Cookie and Water from Lenny’s Subs

• Vegetarian sandwich? See Ms. Acosta by Wed., 4/26

• Concession Stand will be open.

• Bring extra money if you want to purchase food from the

concession stand.

NEISD Sports Park

• We will be at the Sports Park from 9:30 a.m. – 1:20 p.m.

• We will eat lunch at approximately 11:45 a.m.

• You cannot drive over there – Everyone rides the bus because this is considered a field trip.

• You will not be allowed into the Sports park if you do not ride the bus – you will be turned away.

• NO LATE ARRIVALS!

• You CANNOT be checked out at the sports park.

NEISD Sports Park

• Bring Sunscreen!!!

• We will begin boarding the buses at 1:20 p.m. and should

arrive back on campus by 1:45 p.m.

Once we return to campus…

• We will move from the Bus Loop to the PAC.

• All teachers on the field trip will move their students into the

PAC and stay in the PAC.

• Early release students – look for the Early Release Sign-Out Table

in the PAC.

• You will be released according to your scheduled early release

period.

REMEMBER…

• Students returning from NEISD Ballpark will STAY in the PAC until 4:05 p.m.

• Students already on campus will continue to follow their regular schedule until 4:05 p.m.

• All Senior Day absences will affect exemptions.

• You will not be able to exempt if you are absent or check out on March 28th and/or May 5th.

REMEMBER…• BRING YOUR OWN SUNSCREEN.

• Teachers will not have any to give you.

• You cannot share with other students.

• You will NOT be refunded any part of the senior fee if

you do not show up.
