Monday-Friday, February 23rd-27th

Heart Yourself Project 11am-1pm in the Fens

Come take a stand against negative body image. During National

Eating Disorders Awareness week, stop by the Wellness

Ambassador table outside the Fens from 11am - 1pm and tell us

what you love about yourself & take the pledge to love yourself

and your body this year!

Thursday, February 19th

Binge Eating Disorder: It's Not All About

the Weight 5-6pm in the Student Activities Center

This talk will kick off the Wellness Ambassador's Taboo Topic events for the spring

2015 semester. Join us as Simmons College Nutritionist Liz Fayram, RD, LDN, and

counseling center intern Alison Ernhart lead us in a discussion about supporting a

peaceful relationship with food.

Tuesday, February 24th

Documentary Screening and Info Panel 7-9pm in the Faculty and Staff Dining Room

We will be screening the documentary Beneath the Floorboards

and having a panel discussion about body image with members of

Simmons faculty and student body. Please join us for this

important discussion!

Wednesday, February 25th

Tabling All day in the MCB Lobby

Stop by our table to get information about eating

disorders, body image, and resources. We will have

pamphlets and a slide show and cut outs for you to take home!

SWAG Meeting Starting at 8pm in the

Student Activities Center

Join us for a stimulating open discussion about body image

and self-esteem.

Saturday February 28th

Scale Smash

2-4pm on the ResQuad Speak out for body image, eating disorder awareness, self-esteem,

and cathartic release of feelings surrounding these subjects. This is

the third annual scale smashing event. Some scales will be provided

but feel free to bring your own! Smash those scales because those

numbers don’t matter!

Thursday, February 19th

This talk will kick off the Wellness Ambassador's Taboo

Topic events for the spring 2015 semester. Join the Wellness
