François Raoult M.A., R.I.Y.T.is dedicated to teaching yoga

with awareness, integrity andcompassion. He first felt the call

at age 19, on a pilgrimage tosacred sites of India. A graduate

of the Ecole Nationale de Yogain Paris, he started teaching in

1975 and a year later beganextensive training with Sri

B.K.S. Iyengar. Today a certi-fied Iyengar instructor, Françoisalso has studied meditation with

Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh,Ayurveda with Dr. Robert

Svoboda, and anatomy withThomas Myers. In addition to

conducting an annual retreat inFrance, François teaches regu-

larly throughout the US, Europe,Canada, Mexico and India. Heis the director of Essential YogaTeacher TrainingTM—a creative

program for yoga teachers—andthe founder of Open Sky Yoga

Center in Rochester, NY.

Whether you are new to yoga or an experienced practitioner, infusing your yoga prac-tice with breath, sound and music creates a new and rich experience. Drawing formhis background in ethnomusicology, François will guide you in closer alignment withthe source of Life. This workshop will include overtone chanting and a sound journey.
