Autumn Term! We’ve had a lovely start to the new school year and looking forward to the rest of the term filled with Spooky Halloween, Bonfire night and Christmas Activities.

Please could all parents fill in the ‘update of parent details’ form which you hopefully have received with this Newsletter and return as soon as possible. It’s really important that we have the correct contact information for you. If you haven’t received the form please ask Claire or Megan for a copy.

The playground and interior of the breakfast and after school club had a bit of a make over in the Summer Holiday. This was made possible by donations from the Parish Council who chose our charity to have a sum of money from the s.106 Open Space, Sport and Recreation Funding, which enabled us to have the playground resurfaced. We kindly received further donations from the Parish Council and The Old School Community Centre which paid for the decoration or our entrance Hall and Main room. It certainly has made a big difference to the look and feel of the setting.

Activities for this half term included:

All About Me – the children enjoyed talking and writing about themselves plus creating a paper face plate (please see the display board) and making Pizza Faces.

Autumn - We are currently looking at the topic ‘Autumn’, with activities such as leaf rubbing, baking, creating Autumn related word searches, sensory leaf painting and making clay hedgehogs.

After Half Term…

28th October – 31st October we are having a Spooky Halloween activity week
