"My Special Rose“

Today I picked a rose so perfect,
that it's
beauty made
me cry.
Oh how it reminded me of beautiful
roses,
that I had been given through the years
gone by.
Those flowers were given with deep
feelings
And were meant as messages of love.
Each petal had been sprinkled with
rainbow colors,
and was blessed by God above.
As I held the rose close to my heart,
I remembered the most special person I ever knew.
Silently crying, I felt tears run down my cheeks,
I saw them fall upon the rose like sparkling dew.
With shaking hands I plucked off one rose petal,
this one
I would press and
save.
With love I kissed My Special Rose,
and I placed it upon my husband’s grave.
This presentation is made to share with all of you have meant so much
in my life.
