Can You tune: Do your ears hang low?

Can you clap, clap, clap?

Can you snap, snap, snap?

Can you wiggle, wiggle, wiggle?

Can you slap, slap, slap?

Can you throw your arms around you,

And give a great big hug?

Come on and join us on the rug.

School Song

In the hallway, On the playground, In the classroom every day,

Be Responsible, Be Respectful, And Be Safe in every way.

Who’s the best school, In the world, Mill Park, it’s no contest.

We’re responsible, We’re respectful, And we’re safe, Hey! We’re the Best!

Here We Come tune: Found a Peanut

Oh, we’re ready, Oh, we’re ready,

Kindergarten here we come!

We all look so very happy, We’ll make friends and have

some fun!

Good Morning To You tune: Happy Birthday

Good morning to you.

And how do you do?

Good morning, dear children.

Good morning to you.

If You're Happy and You Know It

If you're happy and you know it, clap your hands. (clap clap)

If you're happy and you know it, clap

your hands. (clap clap)

If you're happy and you know it, then your face will surely show it.

If you're happy and you know it, clap

your hands. (clap clap)

I Like To Go To School (tune: Farmer in the Dell)

I like to go to school. I like to go to school.

Heigh-ho-the-derry-oh, I like to go to school.

I like to play with friends. I like to play with friends. Heigh-ho-the-derry-oh,

I like to play with friends.

The Apple Tree

Way up high in the apple tree,

Five little apples were smil ing at me!

I shook that tree as hard as I could,

Down came those apples

M-m-m!

They were good!

I See Me

I see my head.

I see my shoulder.

I see my arm.

I see my elbow.

I see my wrist .

I see my knee.

I see my ankle .

I see al l of me!

The Leaves are Fal l ing Down

The leaves are fal l ing down.

The leaves are fal l ing down.

Al l over Mrs. Mart inez ,

And al l over town.

Fall Scarecrows Corn rows

Pumpkins on the vine Leaves curl Wind swirls

Fall is right on time.

Five Little Pumpkins

Five little pumpkins sitting on a gate. The first one said, "Oh, my it's getting late!"

The second one said, "We don't care!" The third one said, "There are leaves all in the air!"

The fourth one said, "I'm ready for some fun!" The fifth one said, "Let's run and run and run!"

Then Whoooooosh... went the wind, And out went the light!

And the five little pumpkins rolled out of sight.

Apple pie, Pumpkin pie,

Turkey on a dish. We can see, We can eat,

Everything we wish.

The Turkey Hop

Do the turkey hop. Do the turkey run.

Do the turkey gobble. It's a lot of fun.

Now flap your wings, Like the turkeys do.

Then run from the farmer, Before he catches you!

Winter

Icy fingers, icy toes, Bright red cheeks and bright red nose.

Watch the snowflakes as they fall, Try so hard to count them all. Build a snowman way up high, See if he can touch the sky.

The Gingerbread Man

Run, run as fast as you can.

You can’t catch me, I’m the gingerbread man.

I ran away from the old woman.

Martin Luther King, Jr. (Tune: London Bridges Falling Down)

His name was Martin Luther King,

Luther King, Luther King,

His name was Martin Luther King, A civil rights leader.

On peaceful marches he would go,

He would go, He would go,

On peaceful marches he would go, This civil rights leader.

I have a dream, he said one day,

Said one day, Said one day,

I have a dream, he said one day, This civil rights leader.

Treat everyone the same and fair,

Same and fair, Same and fair,

Treat everyone the same and fair, Said this civil rights leader.

Abraham Lincoln

Abraham Lincoln

Kind and good,

Was honored and loved by many.

To help us remember this President

We put his face on our penny.
