Music with Mrs. Sweet
Dear parent or guardian,
My name is Lori Sweet and I’m one of the music teachers at Miller. I miss our students very much and hope you are all doing well during our time apart.
In order to provide music instruction, I am sending home a Choice Sheet of activities that can be done at home.
Students should select one choice each week and complete it. Activities can be repeated in later weeks, up to 2 times per square. (The Bonus Box can be used once for each video; coming soon!)
To submit an assignment each week, parents should send an email to LSweet@LSC.k12.in.us or send a Flipgrid video (see attached instructions) with their information.
I’ve attached a few pages to help!

To get “credit” for their assignment, the email or video must include: 1. student name (first and last) 2. teacher name 3. date completed 4. the activity they completed
- Families with multiple students can submit one email or video, but please include all of the important information for each student.
- Assignments are due each Friday. Please try to have it submitted/emailed by Friday morning of the following week. (So if you complete the activity in week 1, you have until Friday of week 2 to send the email/video.)
- Students do NOT have to video the activity, but they can if they want to share.
- Please note - it is very important that you include the date that the activity was completed for it to be graded correctly.
Additionally, if your family does something musical during this time, like singing a song, or playing an instrument, I would love to see it or hear about it!
Please reach out to me if you have any questions!
