Les Fest’Off, ce sont tous les moments « Off » du Festival Music & Movies ! Moments de détente, de découverte et de surprises pour petits et grands autour de la musique et du cinéma. À ne pas manquer : une série cinéma sur les comédies musicales à la Cinematek, une visite du CAB (Center of Arts Brussels), des conférences et tables rondes sociales et musicales, ou des rencontres avec les artistes invités, des ateliers des Jeunesses Musicales, et une after-party après le festival. Le fest’Off, c’est un vrai programme intense qui intéressera un public à la recherche de contenu. Et pour compléter l’expérience, comme l’an dernier, le Café Kappellmeister proposera un menu spécial « Pistolets », en collaboration avec Pistolet Original : une sélection de petits pains ronds fourrés belges, et des desserts pour une petit creux entre deux concerts ou moments Fest’Off. Fest’Off zijn alle nevenactiviteiten van het Festival Music & Movies! Momenten van ontspanning, ontdekking en verrassingen voor jong en oud, rond de muziek en de cinema. Niet te missen : de filmreeks “Musicals”, de Fondation CAB-tentoonstelling, lezingen en sociale en muzikale rondetafelgesprekken, of nog: ontemoetingen met gastartiesten, workshops van Jeugd&Muziek en een after-party.

Music & MoviesCinematekMusicalsDès que le cinéma a découvert le son, il a été envahi par la musique : la comédie musicale a été portée sur les fonds baptismaux dès les premières heures d’existence de la bande sonore. Aujourd’hui encore, elle a bon pied bon œil, qu’elle ait traversé toutes les mutations suggérées par l’évolution de la mode ou qu’elle revisite son passé sans rien perdre de sa popularité, comme le montre le triomphe du très référentiel La la land. L’histoire de la comédie musicale, c’est celle du cinéma-plaisir, qu’on partage en famille dans une euphorie que peu de genres sont aussi aptes à engendrer.
