No progress - Mithi widening since July 2006 Airport South (Kalpana Talkies / Kurla Kalina Road) CST/BKC Zone Kapadia Nagar area Parigh Khadi area.

MITHI WIDENING – An Appeal

MITHI WIDENED… Sanjay Gandhi Rashtriya Udyan till

Airport BKC to Mahim Creek Bridge. Water bottleneck feared between

Airport Kalpana Talkies Junction to BKC.

MITHI WIDENED… The man-made water bottleneck to

affect 7 sq. km area. Shall affect

Airlines Colonies, Kalpana Talkies Junction, LBS Marg Central Railway tracks near Kurla.

MITHI WIDENING 3 years are over to 26th July 2005. Widening work held up at Airport-

Kalpana Talkies, Kurla. Widening done from 60 to 300 feet….. Suggestions of Experts Committees

implimented at various places.

MITHI WIDENING Good progress has been done

Mithi Janmasthan, Vihar Lake Sanjay Gandhi Rashtriya Udyan Kranti Nagar side of Airport.

MITHI FINANCING No contribution from Central Govt. No contribution from State Govt. The project Implemented by BMC

and MMRDA from their own funds.

Suggestions Width of river at the spot should be kept at

100 mtrs or so as recommended by Experts. Transparent decision to save this area from

disaster Bureaucrats & Executives to perform their

duty to protect Mumbai We appeal to the politicians to have

‘Healthy’ approach
