Tillery, 2, is fighting a brain tumor. Jack, 4, received a bone marrow transplant. Thank you for providing them with a “home away from home” where a friend is always there to carry your feeding tube backpack.
MISSION Cincinnati’s Ronald McDonald House provides a “home away from home” for families with critically ill children while they receive medical treatment. We surround families with hope and support and bring joy and a sense of normalcy to children as they heal.

Thank you for all you make possible with your love,
partnership and support. It is exciting to see that
the programs we began creating last year are
now bringing smiles to children’s faces and relief
to weary parents.
Thank You from our Executive Director
JENNIFER GOODIN
You are caring for our families in new and better ways. Taste of Hope took shape in 2014 and successfully launched this
September. Our families are enjoying nutritious meals that keep parents
strong and help children heal. And our new culinary staff now takes
care of the meal planning and food purchases, so our thousands of
meal volunteers can enjoy a more relaxed experience.
You are now caring for local families. Although local families with critically ill children may not need a room
at our House, they also need the love and support you provide. After
much planning, our Comfort Cart is rolling down the halls of the hospital,
bringing snacks, games, toiletries and more to brighten families’ days.
You are creating caring new leaders. Our amazing young professionals group, the Red Shoe Crew, continues
to bring their enthusiasm and energy to help care for our families.
Membership is at an all-time high of 112. Our RSC is providing activities,
preparing meals and raising over $10,000 dollars annually for our
guest families.
You are caring for our families every day as if they were your own. Over and over I have watched special moments in your lives – a
birthday, an anniversary, or a holiday – become an opportunity to bring
joy to our guest families. Thank you for donating toys and collecting
donations at your holiday parties. You are an amazing gift to us!
You are caring for more families in their greatest times of need. Many families who needed our support for only a few days could not
get into our House. In 2014, we increased the number of short-term
rooms to 10, allowing us to serve families who need to check in with
their children’s doctors for four days or fewer. We will care for more
families this year than ever before.
