Michiana Astronomical Society

Michiana Astronomical Society Inc.

•With a vote from the membership, the old MAS will gift its assets to the to-be-formed Michiana Astronomical Society Inc.  •The membership will vote to dissolve the old MAS.  •The new Michiana Astronomical Society Inc. will be formed when ratified by the signatures of its three (there's only room for three) applicants--Chuck Bueter, Eric Sorensen, and Ruth Craft.   Essentially we state we exist and appoint a new Board with the same names of the extant Board members.  •That new Board, which adds Steve Accuosti and Dan Smith to Chuck, Eric, and Ruth, will then vote for the proposed By-Laws.  •The Board members sign a required Conflict of Interest form. •We then go over the By-Laws, which parallel the old By-Laws but with changes suggested at the October meeting.   And we're in business.
