ROSARY MAKERS The Rosary Makers are growing and expanding! We contin-ue to make mission rosaries to use at home and send abroad. Join us on the second Tuesday of each month at 10am in the St. Philip Room. We have added a Facebook page that will host a weekly virtual rosary (at 8pm on Wednesday ) for the sick and dying of our parish. If you aren’t on Facebook, feel free to pray along on your own. We are also adding availability to say the rosary at the bedside of sick/dying parishioners and at funerals. If you need us or want to get involved, please let us know. CHILDREN’S LITURGY If you ever attend 9:30am Mass on Sunday at St. Philip, you have seen the eager group of fresh-faced children come forward for their blessing as they leave for Children’s Liturgy. This special time allows us to present the Gospel to the children in a way that is meaningful to them. This program is simple, re-quires no special skills, and is quite rewarding. Our current group of teachers allows each teacher or assistant to help once each month. We are looking for adults willing to lead or assist, as well as youth assistants (in middle or high school). This is a great way to become more involved, and for your students to earn service hours. If you are interested in helping or have questions, please contact Kate Bigge at 812-985-7478 or katebigge@gmail.com. IN SYMPATHY The St. Philip Community would like to offer sympathy to Gary Pierre on the death of his mother, Marirose Pierre & to Kathy Montgomery on the death of her aunt, Josephine Alvey.

From the desk of
Fr. Burns
Dear Family,
I wanted to take time and use this space for a very practi-cal announcement. When you give in the collection, please be sure to use the appropriate envelope. Some of you have been using the special envelopes for special collec-tions for your normal tithing. Whichever envelope you put money in, that is the account it will go to.
For instance, if you place your tithe in an envelope for one of the missions, it will automatically go to the missions. I know that some of you, in error or just because you were in a hurry, use that envelope thinking that it would come to the parish. So please take the time to use a regular parish envelope for your tithe and not one of the special envelopes that you may have left over. You may be wondering why I am men-tioning this, but, we have had calls on a few amounts and the intention was for it to go to our regular collection. It has happened enough that it warranted me communicating it in the space for both parishes.
Blessings,
Fr. Burns
