Patriotic Rosary March 18 Come in prayer to heal our nation. A Patriotic Rosary dedicates one Hail Mary in a traditional Catholic Rosary to each state of the United States and asks God’s protection and guidance of our nation. The Patriotic Rosary is a powerful prayer for divine pro-tection and mercy for our Nation and its rebirth. This will be said on Thursday, March 18th at 7:00pm. Please join us as we come together and unite to strengthen our nation!
2 Youth Conference Trip Opportunities Youth currently in grades 8-12 are invited to attend BCYC En-counter (held at Benedictine College in Atchison, KS June 17-20) and Steubenville Rochester (held in Rochester, MN July 22-25). These transformational conference trips provide an exciting op-portunity for youth to become better equipped and empowered to live life as full joyful disciples of Christ. Both trips feature the celebration of the Sacraments, great speakers, great music and opportunities for friendship with other young Catholics. Regis-tration is open for both conferences and deadline to register is April 16th. Cost for the BCYC Encounter is $300 and $350 for the Steubenville Rochester. Cost includes conference registration, entrance fees for additional activities, some meals, lodging and transportation. Register online at bismarckdiocese.com under the Events Tab. For more information please contact Chris Kraft at 701-204-7208 or ckraft@bismarckdiocese.com.
This week we celebrate the Solemnity of St. Joseph, Spouse of the Blessed Virgin Mary. This is one of two feasts The Church celebrates for St. Joseph. In May, we celebrate St. Joseph the Worker. Very little is known about him, only what is spoken about him in scripture. We assume that he died before Jesus began His public ministry. Joseph is an example of faith, humili-ty, obedience to God, work, and love and protection for one’s family. He is the patron of carpenters, fathers, social justice, travelers, The Universal Church, and workers. St. Joseph pray for us!
