The inaugural Malaysian University English Model United Nations (MUEMUN) 2018 conference seeks to address contemporary global issues that are of great concerns to the world at large and United Nations in particular. The theme of MUEMUN 2018, ‘Promoting a Future of Sustainable Well-Being’ would leverage on two most critical contemporary global challenges: Internet of Things and Future of Work. MUEMUN 2018 is dedicated to advancing the understanding of the United Nations and contemporary international issues.

Delegates would strengthen their communication and interpersonal skills, be exposed to decision-making processes and learn tact and diplomacy for negotiations. Above all, MUEMUN 2018 is platform to nurture and develop mutual respects among delegates via teamwork and cooperation.

Promoting a Future for Sustainable Well-Being

In today’s globalized world, we encounter a myriad of issues and problems that threaten the society, community and humanity.

It is beyond the ability of any one nation to address these global challenges on its own. A sustainable well-being approach strive to �nd answers to these challenges.

Broadly, sustainable well-being fosters learning based on mutual sharing and dissemination of knowledge via global dialogues. Therefore, MUEMUN is an avenue for aspiring young leaders to come together to have an open dialogue which has an impact on their future well-being. Their voices during MUEMUN will shape the future we aspire.
