DESCRIPTION

18 Nov 2005. Tidepools in Makaha, Hawaii, basically our front yard.

TRANSCRIPT

Today was nicer so I went to the tidepools. Sunny and brighter I mean.

It’s really cool hanging out down here. Sure beats the living room watching tv.

I took several shots and am sending the creme brulee.

This is where I like to come have my coffee in the morning.

The kukui nut tree. Kukui nut oil is like lighter fluid. It’s how they light all those torches and stuff.

From where I am sitting having my morning coffee, looks like this.

Let’s go for a walk, I want to show you something cool. . .My secret place.

Well, we stumble along here. This is all about a 15 minute walk from my place.

There are an endless amount of tidepools.Tropical fishes dart through them and are abundant.

You can see them here if you look hard enough.

Now, this is a secret place I stumbled upon and to find it you’ll have to come with me, there’s no way I’m leaving da map! It’s a few feet deep there and warm.

“Yeh, I’ll have some Paradise on the rocks!”Talk about a drink!

Same place just seconds later. It generally stays like this, but you can sit in here and get that occassional replenishment of the sea.

There’s dozens of fishes in here. Again, look around.A natural whirlpool and spa.

Another angle. It may be difficult for you to make out the fishes, maybe not.If you bring a towel, just hang it on that center rack there.

Ninety degree water. . .full moon. . .I’ll have to check it out.

This area, my little secret place, is elevated a bit from the shore breaks.

It hits high enough to cause an ocassional replenishment, but not so much to disturb tranquility and calm.

Here’s what I mean. The plumbing and heating are great! And well, the view? MMMMMMM

Well, turning to my right is this natural little sea fall. You can just sit here and veg in the island sun.

There’s a better shot. This is music to my ears.

Just pull up a seat and relax. It is about 88 out today, and the water here is like 80 or so.

So this is my secret place.Hope you enjoyed.

~~~Aloha~~~
