Kalpataru’s support to the Mega Cleanliness Drive organised by Thane Municipal Corporation on 23rd Oct 2016

More than 300 Volunteers from Kalpataru (HO and Sites), KORUM and Siddhachal joined hands to clean the

neighbourhood

Outreach within and outside the organisation

• Area to be clean was identified

• Groups formed and allotted areas

• Garbage collected at identified spots

• Safety and hygiene of the participants taken care of

• Volunteers briefed about the DO’s and DON’T’s

• First aid available for any emergency

No one hesitated in picking up the broom and cleaning

Kids and Senior Citizens partnered in full strength

The awareness march and thereafter the cultural program at Dadaji Konde Stadium was attended by thousands of Volunteers
