Aiming at serving awareness on a platter, we organized Spice it up,
an anti-food waste demonstration on the Dam Square, to give away
rescued spices, veggies and soup. Our aim was making people feel,
taste and see how delicious society’s waste can really be.
Luana interviewed as a city maker
"I am volunteering for TBYW to help eradicate the issue on food waste from our daily lives. Every little helps and so I am helping in collecting food from the local stores, spreading the message with the creation of my posters and photography, and in volunteering in the kitchen during Wednesday's "No-Waste Dinners" at De Meevaart. Food should be treated with respect, it may not always be there for us."

With a canning workshop we showed people how to conserve
various delicacies just like grandma used to do it. Of course these

fruits of our labour.
