How can I make the most of my campus visits?

1. Visit during the week.2. Sit in on classes of interest.3. Participate in an informational session and

tour. BE THE FIRST ONE THROUGH THE DOOR, ASK THE QUESTIONS, AND SHAKE A HAND OR TWO.

4. Get your name on lists!5. Eat in the dining hall.6. Check out the residence halls.7. Look at the posters hanging up around campus.8. Observe the upkeep of the buildings and

landscaping.9. What transportation services are on campus

and around town?

BY SEPTEMBER 1ST1. Know your plan for after graduation.2. If college, your choices are narrowed

down to 5-6 schools.3. If college, you know the admission type

(EA, ED, regular) and your deadlines.4. If college and plan to play DI or II sports,

you are registered at the NCAA Eligibility Center.

5. You had a summer program experience that will add depth to your college/career /scholarship applications.

6. You updated your resume in Family Connections to include all of your activities, leadership experiences, service opportunities and academic enrichment programs.
