OBBAGYSHARON ROSE OBBAGY, belovedwife of Les, and loving mother ofSheree, passed away December 7, atthe age of 70, after a courageousbattle with ALS/FTD. Born March 31st, 1945 to Verda &Harold Farries, she grew up in DelBonita with her six siblings Lyle,Duane, Lynn, Lowell, Rennaye &Shannon. She marr ied Les l ieObbagy in June 1965, sharing 52incredible years. In 1971, they wereblessed with their daughter Sheree.Les & Sheree were her total life focus,as were her family/friends. Theirfarm/ranch was fi l led with goodlaughs, hard work, loving memories &prairie sunsets. Big heart, warmsmile, generous hugs and a genuine

love for all describes her best. Sharon's life drastically changed in 2014 when her ailment wasdiagnosed as ALS (Lou Gehrig's) plus FTD. She was graciously strongthroughout her struggles, never knowing what each day might bring. Sincere gratitude to all who assisted her. The family, friends, staff,doctors & volunteers all get huge thanks & Sharon would have beenhanding them out nonstop if she had been able with big hugs, sweetsmiles and her favourite words "Thank you so much, & God bless you!" Sharon truly appreciated flowers, donated to all causes & was supportedgreatly by the ALS Society, so you may donate as you wish. A Prayer Service will be held at ST. PETER'S CATHOLIC CHURCH, 321Main Street N.W., Milk River, AB on Sunday, December 13, 2015 at 7:00P.M.The Funeral Mass will be Celebrated at ST. ALICE MAUDE DAVIES1914 - 2015

Alice Maude Davies of Lethbridge,beloved wife of the late Arthur Davies,p a s s e d a w a y p e a c e f u l l y , o nDecember 5, 2015 at the age of 101years. Alice was born in Shoreditch London,England. She was born to the soundof “Bow Bells”, making her a trueCockney. She l ived in Londonthroughout World War I and II, beforemoving to Cornwell. Alice moved toCanada in 1977 with her family toMannville, and in 1978 she moved toPincher Creek. It was there that shewas involved in many communitygroups and forged many lastingfriendships. She loved to travel,dance and entertain others with herhumorous skits. In 1993 she moved toLethbridge, residing at Halmrest

Manor, Pemmican Lodge, and Legacy Lodge until her passing. She had azest for life and always made and impression with those she met. Alicewas a devoted Grandmother and extremely proud of her grandchildrenand great grandchildren. She was loved by many and will be dearlymissed. Alice is survived by her grandchildren; Marcus Davies, Sarah Davies(Kevin Sammons), Claire Davies, and Angela (Kevin) Nagoya, and greatgrandchildren; Dylan Nagoya, Jayden Nagoya, Brady Nagoya, RykerSammons and Kenley Sammons. Besides her loving husband Arthur Davies, Alice was predeceased by herparents John and Alice Marshall; brothers Jack Marshall and George Mar-shall; her son Dr. Arthur John Davies; daughter-in-law Pamela Davies andher special companion Alois Pisony. Ernes t Aubrey Stanton o fLethbridge, beloved husband ofthe late Irene Stanton (neeBeeson), passed away peacefullyat St. Michaels on December 5,2015 at the age of 96 years. Stan was born in Mexborough,Yorkshire, England on May 6,1919. He was the only child ofErnest and Lillian. Starting work atthe age of 13 as a butcher boy hehad many jobs throughout his life;he was a coalminer, owned hisown milk business, and worked asa postmaster and shop keeperjust to name a few. He joined theRoyal Tank Regiment in 1937 andsaw action in Dunkirk, Egypt,Libya and Greece where he wascaptured by the Germans in 1942.He was a prisoner of war inPoland and Germany, makingthree unsuccessful attempts toescape, but survived to getmarried to Irene and had onedaughter, Lynn. Stan and Ireneimmigrated to Canada to be withLynn and her husband John in1986, enjoying many holidays withthem and their children, Richardand Caroline. For the last threeyears Stan was a resident of St.Mikes and he enjoyed good careand love from all the staff. Stan is survived by his daughterLynn and son-in-law John, as wellas his grandchildren; Richard andpartner Erika of Calgary, Carolineand husband Todd of Sundre.Cremation has been entrusted toMartin Brothers. In lieu of flowers, a donation inStan’s name may be made to yourfavorite charity.
