OPTIONS FOR CONSIDERATION

RELOCATION: NELSON A. BOYLEN

• Proximity

• Student accommodations with the addition of some portables

• Health and safety audit conducted and necessary maintenance would be addressed before a relocation in September 2020

Distance Approx. 8.1 Km

RELOCATION: TYNDALE (2 CAMPUSES)

• Late last week, the option to extend the lease became available

• No preparatory renewal work required

• Total student body could not be accommodated at Tyndale

• Remaining students would be accommodated at the new St. Joseph Morrow Park, located at 500 CummerAvenue (Approx. distance 1 Km ).

TRANSPORTATION

• Bussing would provided - centralized pick up locations

• TTC tickets issued to students (Transit Stop added)

• Arrangements can be made for students involved in extra-curricular activities and after school programs

• Phased approach to upgrading the Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning (HVAC) system

• Asbestos abatement• Removal of existing piping and radiators• Installation of new piping, radiators,

ventilation system, AC piping and new Building Automation System

• Completion of all work• Installation of the piping system and other

equipment in the attic and roof

HEALTH AND SAFETY

Removal Procedures of Asbestos-Containing Material (ACM) :

• Remove the pipes with the ACM insulation intact using a procedure commonly referred to as "Tootsie Rolling"

• Any ACM removal from the Abbey section will only occur during the months of July and August when the school is empty

• Air testing to be carried out before and after student occupancy
