INTRODUCTIONTHIS IS A SIMPLE TYPE REMOTE CONTROL THROUGH

RF COMMUNICATION.

IN THIS PROJECT REMOTE HAS BEEN DESIGNED FOR VARIOUS HOME APPLIANCES LIKE TELEVISION, FANS LIGHT ETC.

WE CAN CONTROL ANY APPLIANCES BY USING THIS REMOTE WITHIN THE RANGE OF 400 FOOTS.

THIS PROJECT CONSIST OF TWO SECTION, TRANSMITTER (REMOTE) SECTION AND RECEIVER SECTION.

WHEN EVER WE PRESS ANY KEY IN THE REMOTE IT GENERATES CORRESPONDING RF SIGNAL, AND THIS SIGNALS ARE RECEIVED BY THE RECEIVER UNIT.

ASK TRANSMITTER AND RECEIVER IS USED AS TRANSMITTER AND RECEIVER. HT12E, HT12D ENCODERS AND DECODERS ARE USED IN THIS ELECTRONIC CIRCUIT.

OBJECTIVEIN CONSUMER ELECTRONICS , A REMOTE

CONTROL IS A COMPONENT OF ELECTRONIC DEVICES SUCH AS TELEVISION, DVD PLAYER AND OTHER HOME APPLIANCES USED TO OPERATE THE DEVICES WIRELESSELY FROM LONG DISTANCE.

REMOTE CONTROL IS A CONVENIENCE FEATURE FOR THE CONSUMER AND CAN ALLOW OPERATION OF DEVICES THAT ARE OUT OF CONVENIENT REACH FOR DIRECT OPERATION OF CONTROL.

THERE ARE SOME PHYSICAL LIMITAIONS IN ADDITION TO THE FACT THAT THE SUB CARRIER MUST BE 38KHZ.

DISADVANTAGE OF EXISTING MODELREQUIRES TYPICAL IR POINT AND SHOOT

ACTION.UNABLE TO PROVIDE TWO WAY

COMMUNICATION.UNABLE TO TRANSMIT ITS SIGNAL

THROUGH DOORS,WALLS AND FURNITURES.

DOESN’T PROVIDE A BETTER RANGE.

PROPOSED MODEL

ADVANTAGE OF PROPOSED MODELIMPROVED USER EXPERIENCE AND

MUCH BETTER RANGE. DOESN’T REQUIRE THE IR POINT AND

SHOOT ACTION . ALLOWS TWO WAY COMMUNICATION AND

ENABLES A STATUS DISPLAY ON THE REMOTE.

TRANSMIT ITS SIGNAL THROUGH DOORS,WALLS AND OTHER OBSTACLES.

SUMMARYCOMMONLY REMOTE CONTROL ARE CONSUMER IR

DEVICES WHICH CAN SEND DIGITAL CODED PULSE OF INFRARED RADIATION TO CONTROL FUNCTION SUCH AS POWER, VOLUME, TUNNING, TEMPERATURE SET POINT, FAN SPEED OR OTHER FEATURES, BUT HERE WE ARE USING RF BECAUSE IT HAS LONG RANGE AND BIDIRECTIONAL COMMUNICATION.

REMOTE CONTROL HAS CONTINUALLY EVOLVED AND ADVANCED OVER RECENT YEARS TO INCLUDE BLUETOOTH CONNECTIVITY,MOTION SENSOR-ENABLE CAPABILITIES AND VOICE CONTROL.
