One night in the dark woods there sat a lonely racoon called Elvis who loved to sit andstare at the beautiful, bright moon.

Just as he was about to doze off a neighbour from the next tree appeared and began totell him a story involving three angry bears and the gold honey bottle they had leftbehind.

Elvis had a ‘light bulb’idea’ that if he was able toget hold of the goldhoney bottle, he wouldbe rich!

He went looking in thegolden frypan…. helooked high, he lookedlow, realising he mighthave to search across theentire desert

Finally, he rememberedas a young racoon, hisDad showing him agolden honey pot, on awooden bench, in hisvery own kitchen. Heraced off to get it.

He suddenly realised thathe had thrown the goldhoney bottle out with therubbish!

With his stomach in knots, he ran like abull at a gate towards the rubbish stack andsifted through the garbage with his handsgoing round and round so fast that itlooked as if he had horns!

When he realised it was lost forever, hebegan running around in circles for hourslike a headless chook with tears streamingout of his eyes and nose.
