IntroductionIntroduction This research present an indoor location deter

mination system architecture based on a combination of wireless, J2ME and RFID technology.

Java 2 Micro Edition (J2ME) which offers an ideal platform for the development of applications adapted for resource constrained mobile devices.

Our prototype used a Java application with a RFID reader attached to a mobile phone in order to locate the user’s position in a building with fixed RFID tags attached.

ConclusionConclusion

The system presented was based on a combination of wireless, J2ME and RFID technology and was able to accurately locate users and send information based on their location and type of interest back to the users.
