How to Create a Blog

Finding a Site

Find a blog site that you would like to use. For this presentation, we will use Google Blogger.

Create an account on the site if you do not have an account already.

Creating the Blog

Once you have created an account, find the “New Blog Button.” Click the button to get started creating your blog.

Create a Title and Address In the “Create a New Blog” window,

create a title and a web address. The web address must not be the same

as another blog. Fortunately, Blogger will tell you if the name is being used.

Selecting a Template

Select from the list of templates below the window. Once the blog is created, you will be able to customize the layout.

You just created a blog!

Creating a Post

Getting Started

Click the new post button or the pencil icon at the top of the screen.

Write the Post

Write what you want to post. You can also add pictures, videos, and Internet links as well as edit text.

Publish the Post

Once you finish write your post, hit the publish button.
