Program OverviewThe Life Sciences Program at Alfaisal University provides a research-oriented degree that will promote understanding of the fundamental biological processes with emphasis on genetic mechanisms, particularly in relation to human health as well as cross-disciplinary programs that integrate bioinformatics, mathematical modelling, medicinal chemistry and nanotechnology. While biology remains the centrepiece of the life sciences, technological advances in molecular biology and biotechnology have led to a growing number of specializations and interdisciplinary fields.
