A portion of an existing employee parking area is converted into a

60kW carport solar facility that will interconnect to the San Diego Gas

& Electric grid.

The project is a 60kW canopy installation that was built for LG MobileComm U.S.A. in San Diego, CA. The project consists of 187 LG monocrystalline solar panels and two string level inverters. It will act as an R&D unit measuring the di� erence between LG’s old and new module technology. One inverter has 99 LG monocrystaline Mono X 265W panels and the other inverter has 88 LG monocrystaline Mono X Neon 290W panels. LG will monitor the production di� erences between the two module types.

Construction was completed in May of 2015 with ZERO safety incidents.
