The Best $ 70 Hockey Stick on the Market!

Refurbished Sticks

A lil Intro… Refurbished sticks (Refurbs) are broken sticks that have been repaired, but before you go running away listen up: • We have repaired over 5,000 sticks in just over 4 years and growth has been driven by customer referrals.

• Our refurbs are being used throughout adult, junior, and minor hockey (several players have even gotten NCAA Division 1 Scholarships while playing with our twigs!)

Customer Concern # 1 Weight

Two identical CCM RBZ’s:

• New = 451 grams • Refurb = 476 grams

Refurbs add approx. 25 grams of weight.

Therefore our sticks are still much lighter than most sticks on the market.

Customer Concern # 2 Flex / Kick Point

We have tested the flex profile of different sticks on ice by professionals and in the lab by engineers. All conclude that the repair does not have an impact.

Non- Broken Refurb

Customer Concern # 3 Strength

The reinforced section has added carbon fibre that effectively makes the stick stronger in the repaired portion. Occasionally they still break, that is why we offer a 35 day guarantee!

Non- roken Refurb

Lots of places repair sticks but we do it best….

We work with over 50 Professional, College, and Junior level teams and only fix the latest and greatest.

Step # 1 | Sourcing

We only fix the ones that are in otherwise perfect condition .

We check all sticks for punky blades, chipped toes and any micro fractures in the shaft.

Step # 2 | Inspection

We typically cut out approximately an inch to an inch and a half out of the shaft.

Note the very minimal visual disturbance.

Step # 3 | Cutting Out

Damaged Area

Before After

Our beveling machine is used to create grooves in the shaft.

Step # 4 | Inspection

We insert a double wrapped carbon fibre sleeve and re-align the two stick pieces.

Step # 5 | Alignment

A special combination of resin and hardener is poured down into the shaft.

Step # 6 | Ad Epoxy

We let it sit for 72 hours in a temperate room.

Step # 7 | Curing

We flex the stick multiple times in both directions. We test to ensure that the stick returns to its original flex profile.

Step # 8 | Cracking the

Stick

Repaired Area

Still Skeptical? Once again we’re talking about $300 sticks for only $70! That is why we say you can’t afford not to try one…..

Everyone wants to use the best of the best but very few can afford / are willing to pay for them.
