What is the LCAP?

The Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP) is an important component of the Local Control Funding Formula (LCFF).

Under the LCFF all LEAs are required to prepare an LCAP, which describes how they intend to meet annual goals for all pupils, with specific activities to address state and local priorities identified.

Establish /Review Goals

How do our goals align with our overall county mission statement? In what ways will they restore or increase services for students?

What else is needed?

If plans are meaningful they will need to be

monitored, revised and understood by all. Revisions throughout the year are possible.
