• Tuition fees are approximate and are based on completion of the minimum number of credits for graduation. Additional course fees may apply.
• Most courses require textbooks or other supplies that may be purchased from the Langara Bookstore or other sources, the cost of which may not be included in the listed tuition fee. When the fee is paid directly to the department, the fee has been noted above.
• Programs with conditional admission provide a pathway through the Langara English for Academic Purposes (LEAP) program.
• Students must submit transcripts and diploma in the original language and with a certified English translation.
• Once admitted, students may be required to take the Langara English Test (LET) and/or Math Diagnostics Test (MDT), or their equivalents, to fulfill pre-requisites for program completion.
• Co-op Program includes paid work terms as part of the student’s educational program. To qualify for the Co-op Program, student must fulfill some program requirements and complete additional credits. Students must end their program on an academic term.
• Experiential work term is a paid, single term of full-time employment in some PDD programs to apply the theoretical knowledge gained through study.
• Practicum is a program-related unpaid volunteer position for a short period of time.
NOTES FOR ENGLISH LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS:
• Duolingo (DUO): temporarily accepted as an English exam for admission purposes only for May 2021, September 2021, and January 2022. Programs that do not display “DUO” do not accept Duolingo. For the three semesters noted, all IELTS band requirements for the following programs are temporarily removed:
• All Regular Studies programs using English Language Proficiency requirement Category 2 for the purposes of admissions
• All Continuing Studies programs which accept IELTS 6.5 or lower for the purposes of admissions
• IELTS: Langara only accept the “Academic” version of the exam for admission purposes.
• TOEFL: We will temporarily accept the TOEFL Special Home Edition. We do not accept TOEFL ITP / PDT.
