2015 Annual Report of the Banff Foundation

This is the third year of ROTRF infrastructure support. Substantial progress was made toward establishment of the new discipline of tissue engineering pathology as described yesterday. Will be focus of 2017 and 2019 meetings.

Fundraising for Vancouver meeting was highly successful. Looks like there will be about a $90,000 surplus from this meeting. About 500 attendees.

Barcelona meeting in 2017 will be March 18-22 held in a University venue near old city. Planning is well advanced for excellent meeting directed by Daniel Seron.

We have received a proposal to have the 2019 meeting in Istanbul, Turkey which is currently being considered. We would be happy to receive other proposals for 2019 and 2021 with practical and financial details.

Foundation for funding the establishment of the Banff

Foundation for Allograft Pathology from 2013-2016, our

infrastructure.

There is enthusiasm for creating an endowment of one million

dollars to allow the continuation of the Banff Foundation in

perpetuity. The three years of ROTRF support started something

very important!
