I’m often known to disrupt the thoughts of peo-ple with what I say, but the reality is I wouldrather hurt your feelings and tell you the truththan sugar coat it. I would rather be able tocoach you through the process than be a friendwho pats you on the back and say it’s okay, when it may not be the case.

So what I’m going to say next will almost cer-tainly astound you. It will shock you. For someit will be a source of disappointment, with a fewof you even getting upset. I hope amongst what-ever emotions you experience, that this realityinspires you. This truth that may leave yousleepless tonight, twisting and turning in bedthinking about the one statement I’m about tomake.

You know that you can dobetter in life.

You know this!If you didn’t really believe in that, you would

not be reading this article. You know you cando better in life; you’re simply looking forthoughts, tips and possibly directions on howto get there.

This is how the whole concept of complain-ing works. You know that you could be a betterperson. You know you can do better in yourprofessional life. You know that you can live anamazingly full personal life. You know whatyour best is, and yet you’re not being it. That’sthe whole reason why you’d complain in thefirst place.

Think about it. If you already lived the bestyou could possibly be, then you couldn’t com-plain, because you wouldn’t have anything better to compare with. The reason you com-plain is that you are comparing where you are, with where you could, and in fact, should be. An

example I use is ordering a cup of latte in a café.The only reason I would ever ask for it to be replaced is that I know it can be made better. IfI didn’t then I would happily accept the latte forhow it was served.

You are where you are because you deserveit. Yes, you deserve where you are, becauseyou are currently living a result. A result that isstemmed from the current beliefs you hold, thethoughts you have, the decisions you make andthe actions you take. For things to change, youmust accept that you’re the underlying factor, starting with your beliefs, which will affect yourthoughts, in turn help you make better deci-sions, that will then need to be backed up withaction.

For example, reading this article is a good start to wakingup, changing and doing things

differently now that I’ve told you that there ismore in you.

Next time you find yourself complaining, take a few minutes to think about whether theactions you are taking are in all honesty leadingyou to achieve the results you want. Becausethey are certainly leading you to the current results, and if you aren’t happy with them, thenyou have to make some changes now.

Ask yourself, what action do you need totake to get the results you want? All you haveto do is simply take the action that will give you your ultimate results, and you will noticeyourself complaining less often. Consistentlyworking towards what you want, will in turnlead you to the life you truly want and deserve.

You know what you need to do, what are youwaiting for?

Have a winning week.

Japanese car manufacturer Subaru is hoping to tighten its grip on the Omani car marketand open itself up to a whole newaudience when it launches its brand new Legacy and Im-preza Sti models in Oman laterthis year.

With Oman already thebiggest market in the MiddleEast for the brand, Subaru hopesto expand its share in the countryafter the launch of its new mod-els, by targetting a new marketand improving its image.

The new top of the rangeLegacy, which features the com-pany's idiosyncratic Boxer engine, developed in-house bySubaru, has a 3.6-litre enginewhich generates 256 horse-power and can hit 100km inaround 5.5 seconds. Yet despitethis, the latest incarnation pro-vides a serene ride and combinessmooth handling with improvedfuel economy, managing 40kmto the gallon.

Building on its recent rally her-itage, the latest Impreza WRX Stirepresents a shift in styles in themotor sport. As the days of drift-ing round corners sideways arereplaced by drivers pickingstraight lines through corners, the new Sti is a car that can bethrown into corners withoutmuch fear of spinning out.

the 2.5-litre GT engine generates265 horsepower, in addition toreaching 100km in 4.5 seconds.

Speaking exclusively to Mus-cat Daily at the launch of its newmodels in Bahrain, YasushiNagae, the general manager ofthe Subaru CIS, the Middle Eastand Africa sales department, explained that Oman's terrainmakes it the perfect playgroundfor the cars.

“I think the market in Oman isdoing very well. We have a 2.5per cent market share in Oman, which I feel is a very suitablemarket for Subaru because youhave a lot of long roads andmountainous areas.

“Some kind of stability and reliability is important for theOmani customer. In the MiddleEast, Oman holds a lot of poten-tial for Subaru as a market, wherethe Legacy and the Forester arethe most popular models.” Sub-aru needs to open itself up tonew audiences and improve cus-tomer service if it is to improveits image and popularity inOman, he added. “We have thenew Legacy, but we need a driverto lift our brand's image and cre-ate a new market. I think it will besuccessful because we havesome good dealers and somegood customers. The basicimage of Subaru is not bad, but

we need to improve it.“We have to make some

efforts to enhance our customersatisfaction. With this, we haveto make some developments indealing with customers and inthe near future we can make adjustments to our products forcustomers. This will make ourcustomers even happier.”
