JUST MY LUCK
LIGHTS CAMERA ACTION
I watched It on September 20th 2014 In my living room
WHERE DID I WATCH IT?
“Just my luck’s” setting is in New York!Besides that it does give any information
where the movie was taken place.
SETTING
MOODS!
This movie is about love and luck! Both characters express feelings for each other
but are torn apart by luck!
Lindsay Lohan which plays Ashley Albright , is just a normal 20 year old girl who has the power of luck.
Chris Pine which plays Jake Hardin, is also around the age of 20 that likes to just have fun but when he tries he has no luck!
CHARACTERS
THEME
The theme of Just My Luck is love over luck. I think that is the theme because think about it Ashley wanted the luck so her life wasn’t bad anymore but she was falling in love with Jake during the process. She couldn’t be lucky and watch
Jake be unlucky so she chose him over luck.
SETS
They chose a variety of sets to make the movie more realistic. For example when Ashley through the work party the director really put effort in to making the set look like a
REAL party.
The makeup in just my luck helps bring together every scene. Like when Ashley gets knocked out in jai they had to used special effects makeup to make it look like she a had a black eye. An before that when she was crying they makeup
artist had to make the mascara run.
MAKEUP
Costumes in Just My Luck were changed a lot. In the exposition Ashley was lucky and had all the clothes of her dreams, but that quickly went downhill when she turned unlucky and lost all her clothes and money. She then was borrowing more of her not as wealthy friends clothes. As
well as when she got a job at the bowling alley and she had her work outfit which was a costume as well.
COSTUMES
I really enjoyed this movie! It was a great story and it make you laugh a lot. I would watch this movie again with friends to see if they like it as much as I do. The actors were very
well taught and I’m sure do well in many more movies.
