Update from Clive
What’s the Gossip?
Hi everyone, and welcome to Carinbundi’s June Newsletter - where I hope you will all enjoy reading about all
the latest news with photos from a month of happy outings and events. There is so much happening at Day
Services that makes for fun days for our customers!
It’s great to see all the hard work being undertaken on creating our new ‘Education Centre’ for not only our
customers, but customers from other Service Providers. My particular thanks and appreciation goes out to
Peter Lemura, Tania Anderson, Mitch Pukallus, Cimah Orion-Williamson, and all the other staff and custom-
ers who give so freely of their time to help make this a unique ‘Point of Difference’ for Carinbundi, amongst
many other Service Providers in Bundaberg.
I am happy to see the progress being made on a Volunteer Program, and that we have now recruited our
first Volunteer to assist our customers and staff.
Happy Birthday to all staff and customers who have already, or are about to celebrate their birthdays during
June and July. It’s great to see how much fun our customers have celebrating their special day!
The NDIS-readiness by every sector of our business is ramping up for the September launch, and I am grate-
ful to everyone who is contributing to getting us ready. A reminder to families that you have the services of
our NDIS Pre-Planner available, to assist you in being ready for your NDIS Planning Meeting. Carinbundi
values every customer and their family, and so when you have your meeting booked in, remember that our
experienced staff are available to support you at that meeting.
Lastly, a big THANK YOU to every Support Worker at Carinbundi –you all do a great job every day support-
ing and caring for our valued customers, and your efforts are appreciated. A special shout out to those work-
ers who go ‘above and beyond’ when they see a need – your extra efforts are appreciated!
Thank you too, to the staff who work behind the scenes – your efforts are also very much appreciated in en-
suring we have a great business heading into the changed environment under the NDIS.
I wish all customers, families, support staff, and office staff a happy month ahead.
Carinbundi’s goal
is to ensure every customer has the best care possible,
and enjoys their time with us every day.
