…athree-partretreatseriesbeingofferedinsouthernMississippiin2019.Thisseriesisdesignedforthosewhowishtocultivateamoreauthentic,meaningfulandconnectedlife.Bylisteningtothedeepwisdomandguidanceofsoul–bothwithinandthemoreexpansivesoulthatsurroundsandflowsthroughallthingsofthenaturalworld-werenewourinnerlivesandouterbelonginginthefamilyofthings.

BasedontheCircleofTrust®approachasdevelopedbyParkerPalmer,theseretreatsprovideasafespaceawayfromthedistractionsanddemandsofeverydaylifetohearthewisdomoftheheart.Withinasincereandcommittedcommunity,issuesofconnection,purpose,longings,vocationandtransitionareexploredthroughdeeplistening.

Storiesfromourpersonaljourneys,insightsfrompoets,story-tellers,anddiversewisdomtraditions,aswellas,music,art,movementandNatureinitsmanydiverseexpressionsareusedtoinvitethevoiceofsoul.Then,large-groupandsmall-groupgatherings,journaling,andtimeinsolitudeprovidetheopportunitytoexploreandgainclarityofthosepromptingsoftheheart.ClearnessCommittee,afocuseddiscernmentprocess,isanintegralcomponentoftheretreats.

Inthiswaywejourneytowards“innerandouterwholeness”bringingtogetherwhowearewithinandwhoandwhatweareaspartofthenaturalworld.

CommitmentandACommunityofTrust:JourneyTowardInnerandOuterWholenessisdesignedasanintegrated,three-partCourageandRenewalSeriesinwhichparticipantsbuildacommunityoftrustthatsupportsdeepexplorationoflifeissues.Animportantaspectofthisworkisthatparticipantsmakeafaithfulcommitmenttothemselvesandthecommunitytoattendallthreeretreats.Venue:Theretreatswillbeheldonthebeautiful,secludedgroundsofSwallowForkLakeandCabinsinPoplarville,MS.LodgingisprovidedatSwallowForkandalocalbedandbreakfast.Cabinsareequippedwithkitchenfacilities,andduringtheretreat,wewillprepareourownmeals.Participantswillbeaskedtocontributetoitemsonafoodlistandjoininmealpreparationasapartofcreatingcommunity.
