Why Use Surpass Safari

• To Locate Book• For Research• To check the status of a book to see if it is

available for checkout

How can you search?

• Author• Title• Subject• Keyword• Advance searches including format• and call number

Finding a book using the“CAT” method

• Once you have found a title in the catalog that you want to locate, you will need the “CAT” information to find the book on the shelve.

C = Call NumberA = Author

T = Title

• Click on Title

• Type in the title you are trying to locate.

• “Matching Titles” will appear, click on the title that matches your search.
