FAFSA Night At LHS
February 8th @ LHS at 7:00 in Media Center
Oakland University financial aid specialist will be on hand
to help families/students fill out FAFSA’s, answer
questions, provide support during the FAFSA process. All
families/students welcome. Use our internet/computers! For
info and list of required documents to complete your
FAFSA call LHS counseling department! Save the date.
Computer Labs Open for FAFSA!
The Media Center Computer lab at LHS has fast internet,
and is available for student/parent use to aid in filing
your FAFSA! Our Media Center is open until 3:30 daily
after school, and at other times, by appointment. Please
contact counseling for more information. We are here to
help!
*2016 CASH for College Initiative*
Throughout the month of February we are
encouraging all seniors to complete the FAFSA!
Research is clear that students who fill out their
FAFSA are far more likely to follow through on
attending college. AS incentives, LHS has many great
local prizes up for grabs: prom tickets, “pay-to-
play”, parking passes, and more. Students need to
bring in proof of FAFSA completion to counseling
office by March 1st to be entered in drawings.
Junior Jump!
( into the College-going season!)
January 27th ALL 11th graders will attend the
“Junior Jump” at CFI. They will experience a
unique and dynamic opportunity to hear
about/from diverse colleges, military, AP and
dual enrollment opportunities. Mandatory
scheduling activities and information will be
discussed, and students will have lunch at CFI.
Please contact counseling with any questions.
Dual Enrollment Night LHS will host our local college partners on February
1st, to present their dual enrollment programs to
