JAINISMGODS AND SUPERNATURAL BEINGS
SUPERNATURAL BEINGS
Jains don’t believe in a god, but they do believe in supernatural beings who have broken free of the reincarnation cycle to attain Nirvana. In fact, there are 24 beings who have done that… and we know their names. We memorized their names as children. Though there’s no evidence any of them ever “attained Nirvana.”
GODS:
Both Arihants and Siddhas are considered Gods of Jain religion.
ARIHATS Arihats are perfect human beings and
preach the Jain religion to the people during their remaining life. After death they become Siddhas.
SIDDAHS All Siddhas are perfected souls, living
for ever in a blissful state in Moksha. Siddhas are the liberated souls. They have completely ended the cycle of birth and death. They have reached the ultimate state of salvation
