Jackie was great at almost any sports. Even if he just learned how to play, he could be great. He was also very fast.

Personal Qualities

Motivation

Really likes sports Jackie also wanted

equal rights. If he didn’t play baseball, there wouldn’t be equal rights in baseball.

Hardships

Jackie was black, and nobody treated him well. Jackie’s family was also poor. Jackie could only hope for a job as a coach      

Accomplishments

Jackie was the MVP of the National League.

Jackie broke his brother’s record in the long jump with a 25 foot jump.

Jackie made it to the Baseball Hall of Fame.

Jackie is famous because he was the first African American to play Major League Baseball.

Interesting Information

Jackie was partly blind at the end of his life. Jackie’s brother Mack won 2 medals in the Olympics. Jackie played football in college. Jackie’s role model was his brother Mack. In Jackie’s first game ever he hit a double, stole third and went home on a fly ball.
