Mr. Ranjith R Menon – Director & Sr. Consultant
Mr. Menon holds an MBA in Hospital Administration from D.A. University, Indore. He has over 12
years of broad-based experience in the field of healthcare, which cut across areas like hospital
planning and management, process standardisation, information technology and public health.
He is project lead of all the Healthcare Quality projects of Isos Consultancy.
Before setting up Isos Consultancy Services, Mr. Menon was a founding team member and Vice
President – Projects & Consultancy at MedicaSynergie Pvt. Ltd., Kolkata, an integrated
healthcare group involved in hospitals, pharmacy chains and consulting businesses. Prior to that
he headed Southern India-operations at EPOS Health Consultants, a global health consulting
organization, headquartered in Germany, with a presence in over 50 countries across the world
on a wide range of issues in the health sector.
He also worked with the Narayana Hrudayalaya/Asia Heart Foundation group as Group
Consultant responsible for Quality and Systems across the group hospitals and also with
Siemens, as a Domain Expert and Product Analyst for their Health Information Systems, with
implementation at East and Central Europe, Middle-East, South-East Asia and Latin American
markets.
Mr. Menon was consultant with leading hospitals in the country like Narayana Hrudayalaya,
Bangalore, Rabindaranath Tagore International Institute of Social Sciences, Kolkata, Fortis
Hospital, Noida, Mallya Hospital, Bangalore, Sri Ramachandra Medical Center, Chennai, PSG

Mr. Akhtarul Munim – Director & Sr. Consultant
Mr. Munim is an expert in Hospital Management and Public Health Planning. He did his
Postgraduation in Health and Hospital Management from the Indian Institute of Health
Management Research, Jaipur. He has over ten years of experience in the Hospital and Public
Health sector in India. He started his career at the Rabindranath Tagore International Institute of
Cardiac Sciences in Kolkata, working in the area of Hospital Operation, Telemedicine, Purchase

Hospital, Mr Munim managed the hospital for over a period of two years.
Mr. Munim is Project Lead of all the Hospital Planning and Management projects of Isos
Consultancy.
Mr. Munim was the Project Manager of the Project Team, which facilitated the Decentralised
Planning process under the NRHM in Meghalaya. As a technical expert, he also supported the
preparation of District Action Plans and the State Program Implementation Plan for Tripura and
Sikkim. He was the project lead for the preparation of District Action Plan under NRHM for
Nalanda, Bihar. Mr. Munim has also supported the Bihar government for the Preparation of the
State Program Implementation Plan, 2008-09. Mr. Munim was instrumental in preparing the plan
for up gradation of the district hospitals to IPHS in Assam and Meghalaya under NRHM. He also
worked as an expert in Hospital Planning for Health Infrastructure and Systems Assessment for
three states in the North East for MoHFW, the government of India
Mr. Munim was involved in preparing the DPRs for a Non-Invasive Cardiac Centre with ICCU
facility in Assam and the setting up a 200-bed Multispecialty Hospital in Shillong. He is trained in
the NABH Implementation Programme, conducted by the Quality Council of India.
Mr. M.S. Panicker, Sr. Consultant – Quality Management
Mr. Panicker is a Management Systems expert with a post graduate degree in Metallurgical
Engineering from the Indian Institute of Metals, Kolkata. Mr. Panicker has an experience of over
30 years in Quality Management in the field of Engineering and Service sector.
Early in his career, Mr. Panicker held several positions related to industrial quality management
practices at the Integral Coach Factory, Madras, he was the Laboratory Superintendent and at
the Steel and Industrial Forgings Ltd., Kerala he was DGM – Quality Control. Mr. Panicker
shifted his focus to quality management practices in the services sectors specializing in the
verticals of healthcare, education and hospitality. He has been a consultant with some of the
leading hospitals, educational institutes and hotels in Kerala and Tamil Nadu. Mr. Panicker was
formerly the General Manager and Principal Consultant at ACME (India) Quality Management
Service a leading quality management consultancy.

Dr R.Tharakeswari – Sr. Consultant
Dr. Thara has an MBBS degree from the JSS Medical College, Mysore University and an MD in
Physiology from the PSG Institute of Medical Sciences and Research, Coimbatore. She has
been an administrator in various capacities. Dr. Thara was RMO for two years at the
Gastroenterology and Endoscopy Center (GEC), currently called MEDINDIA Hospitals. Dr. Thra
also has an M Phil in Hospital and Health care Management from BITS Pilani and CMC Vellore
She is also a qualified NABH assessor. At PSG IMSR where she has held positions as PG tutor
for three years and Assistant professor till date and is shortly due to promoted as Associate
professor. Her contributions include being department in-charge for ISO work. She has

Mr. Syam Thomas has a Post Graduate Diploma in Health Care Management (2 years full time

Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore. He has handful experience with health and
wellness industry players. He did his summer internship with Marico Limited where he designed

Dr. S. Sundarakumar – Sr. Consultant
Dr. Sundarakumar graduated from the PSG Institute of Medical Sciences & Research,
Coimbatore in 1993. He started his career as the Junior Resident in the Department of
Emergency Medicine and stayed in the same institute till 1998. Later, he earned a Post graduate
degree in Respiratory Medicine (Diploma in TB & Chest Diseases) from the Madras Medical
College. He joined as the Senior Resident in the department of Respiratory & Critical Care
Medicine, PSG Hospitals Coimbatore, during which he did DNB in the same speciality.
In 2002, Dr. Sundarakumar was entrusted to develop the science of Emergency Medicine at
PSG Hospitals. He established the Department of Emergency Medicine with full infrastructure,
protocols and SOPs. The team at PSG has been trained in BLS, ACLS, ATLS and Prehospital
care, as per international guidelines. In 2005 he was made the Head of the Department of
Emergency Medicine and then made the Resident Medical Officer. The team in the department
of Emergency Medicine saw the complete structured Emergency Department in the year 2008
with its subdivisions into Triage point, Trauma room, Medical ER, Paediatric Resuscitation beds,

Support Ambulances. The Team has been put into intensive training into the concept of ER and
Prehospital care. He has been selected for a Fellowship by FAIMER to do a project on

Dr. Shripria.V - Sr. Consultant
Dr. Shripria has an MBA degree from Bharathiar University. She did a brief stint in management
consulting, where she handled assignments in marketing, branding advertising and HR. She has
ten years of academic experience, having worked as a Lecturer/ Assistant Professor at the GRG
School of Management. During her tenure Dr. Shripria convened and organized national level
seminars and conferences initiated alumni meets and guided students’ affairs. She was
