TIME TRAVEL IN MOVIES

TYPES OF TIME TRAVEL• Time travel to the past

• Time travel to the future

Fourth Dimension (4D)

Time Travel to the past• Nothing is solid or smooth in this world. Everything got tiny pores, voids

and crevices.

• Wormholes or Portals are nothing but these tiny pores, voids and crevices in the 4th dimension.

• Wormholes connect two different locations in space and also two locations which vary in time.

• Someday, we might capture a wormhole and blow it up for an human or a spaceship to enter into it.

Time Travel to the past will make us Gods and Goddesses

Paradoxes

FEEDBACK EFFECT

Quick Summary

• Wormholes do exist in billions all around us.

• We might be able to capture a wormhole someday and blow it up in an enormous size, for a person or a spaceship to enter into it.

• But, wormholes can’t sustain longer due to internal radiation (feedback) and paradoxes will occur.

• Thus, time travel to the past is a myth.

Time Travel to the future

• Time is like a river. It flows in different speeds at different places.

• Object drags on time. Just like object getting dragged and pulled on river.

• Time gets slowed down near huge objects. Just like water flow gets slowed down, when an huge object gets dragged.

BLACK HOLES AND TIME TRAVEL

DISADVANTAGES OF USING A BLACK HOLE TO TIME TRAVEL

• It’s remote from our earth (26,000 light years).

• It’s very dangerous.

• Calculate the perfect trajectory and speed to revolve around it’s orbit, else get sucked into it.

• It won’t even get us very far into the future.

ONE LAST HOPE : TIME AND SPEED

• Simple but important time equation: Time = Distance/Speed (T= D/S).

• Time is inversely proportional to Speed and directly proportional to Distance.

• When Speed increases, Time decreases.

• There is a cosmic speed limit. Nothing can travel faster than that.

• That speed limit is none other than, Speed of light (c) = 186,000 mps or 300,000 kmps

• At the speed of light, Time = 0

• But, still we can attain 99.99% of the speed of the light.

From 2050 to 2150

PARTICLE ACCELERATOR AT CERN, GENEVA, SWITZERLAND

Pi-mesons (very short-lived particles), when they are accelerated near-light speed, they lasted 30 times longer than they would usually disintegrate.

ANY QUESTIONS ?

FINAL SUMMARY

• Wormholes do exist and we are ardent to travel to the past.

• Paradoxes and feedback will prohibit the possibility of time travel to the past.

• Time travel to the future is scientifically practical.

• We can use black holes to slow down time, but it is inefficient and also dangerous.

• Leaving us with one last hope: Time travel is possible if we travel in near-light speed.

Thus, Time travel to the past is improbable. Time travel to the future is really possible, if we

can travel really, really fast.

Let us all hope that one day we will become real-life time voyagers through the 4th dimension.
