The types of services available are:

Floating Support – support that can be delivered to clients living in any type of home. i.e. private rented or local housing authority home.

Supported Housing – for people who need accommodation to enable them to get the appropriate level of support they need.

Our Aims Provide high quality supported accommodation

to homeless vulnerable people

Enable vulnerable people to develop the skills to live independently in their own accommodation

Prevent homelessness and the problems this causes to individuals and communities

Why Is Housing RelatedSupport Needed?

The services can prevent individuals from accessing hospitals, health services and institutional care and avoid homelessness. Prevention of offending (and re-offending) is a major priority and settled accommodation has an important role to play.

Providers deliver personalised services, support plans are tailored to meet their needs and aspirations.

A Strategic Approach - Meeting the housing and support needs of homeless and vulnerable people is an important priority in Derbyshire.
