Turning the phone on and off

SIM card, memory card and battery
inserting
If the phone is turned on – switch it off.Take off the back cover – gently pressand move the lid down to take it off.

Insert the SIM card – SIM card should beplaced with its gold contacts facing downin a way that the recess is stamped.
Insert the memory card – to open thecard reader lid gently slide it down.MicroSD memory card must be placedwith its gold contacts facing down, in away that its recess is stamped. Close thememory card lid gently sliding it upwards.
The battery should be inserted in such away so that the gold connectors on thebattery contact the gold contacts inbattery recess in your mobile phone.

Menu access
To get the Menu access press theNavigation key <up> or <down>.
Using keys <up> and <down> select theappropriate option.Press the <green handset> key, to

Customize your phone
myPhone 1045/1082 can be customized
to your own needs. It will make using it
much easier.
Enable or disable the silent mode
To enable or disable the Silent Mode instandby Mode use the zero key <0>.Press and hold it for about 3 secondsuntil statement appears „silent modeactivated”.
Sounds and user profiles
To set the phone volume level go to[Profiles] option in phone`s Menu.
Press navigation key <up> or <down>, toenter phones Menu. Then, using keys<up> and <down>, select option

[Profiles] and press the <greenhandset> key.
Select the appropriate profile from the list,press the <green handset> key →[Options] → [Activate] → <greenhandset> key to confirm your choice.

• [Alert type] – press the <greenhandset> → [Options] → [Change]→ select the appropriate alert type.
• [Ring type] – press the <greenhandset> → [Options] → [Change]→ select the appropriate ring type.
• [Ringtone] – you can change theringtone for incoming calls – pressthe <green handset> → [Options]

• [Ringtone volume] - press the<green handset> → [Options] →[Change] press the volume controlkeys <+> and <-> (on the left side ofyour phone), to set the volume level.
• [Message] – you can set an alert forincoming message – press the <greenhandset> → [Options] → [Change]→ select sound and confirm bypressing the <green handset> key →[OK].
• [Message volume] – enables you toset the volume of incoming message -press the <green handset> key→[Options] → [Change] and press thevolume control keys <+> and <-> (on the left side of yourphone), to set the volume level.

• [Keypad Tone] - press the <greenhandset> key → [Options] →[Change] and select the type ofkeypad tone. Confirm by pressing<green handset> key → [OK].
• [Key tone volume] – you can easilyadjust the key tone volume level -press the <green handset> key →[Options] → [Change] and press thevolume control keys <+> and <-> (on the left side of yourphone), to set the volume level.
• [System alert] – press the <greenhandset> key → [Options] →[Change] and turn the system alert onor off. Confirm by pressing the <greenhandset> key → [OK].
SOS key settings

myPhone 1045/1082 is equipped with SOS key. It is located on the back of the phone, over the battery cover:
To enable the SOS key, select in main[Menu] (navigation keys <up> or<down>) → [SOS Setting]. A submenuappears with SOS key settings:
• [SOS number setting] - it is possibleto enter 5 numbers the phone will tryto connect with after longer pressingthe SOS key.
• To enter a number press the <greenhandset> key → [Options] → [Edit]

and enter the phone number.
After entering the last number, select:[Options] → [Done]. To confirm all ofthe numbers select: [Options] →[Save] → [Done]. If there is no numbersaved in option [SOS number setting]long pressing of the SOS key activatesthe alarm sound for 5 seconds.
• [Love number setting] - It is anoption allowing you to assign speeddial numbers to keys: <*> and <#>.The numbers can be assigned todifferent tabs „Male” and „Female”. Toenter the number press the <green handset> key → [Options] →[Edit] and enter the phone number.After entering the number, select:[Options] → [Done].
When you finish entering all Lovenumbers: [Options] → [Save] →

• [SOS SMS content] - a SMS that willbe sent to numbers entered in [SOSnumber]. It is possible to enter yourown text and save changes([Options] → [Edit] → enter the SOSmessage content → [Options] →[Done]).
• [Select the object of SMS] - The lastoption in SOS submenu is selectingphone numbers the alarm SMS will besent to. It is possible to select all fivereceivers (all five entered SOSnumbers) or, for example, only one ofthem.
• [Call waiting time] – time after whichthe alarm sound stops, and the phonewill attempt to call all sequentialnumbers set in the [SOS numbersetting].

Phone lock
Use the key (located on the right side of
your phone) to lock or unlock the phone.
Move the slider up to lock the phone or move
it down to unlock it.
Connectivity options
Making a phone call
In standby mode enter a phone numberusing alphanumeric keypad. It isrecommended to enter the code numberand then the phone number.
Press the <red handset> key, toterminate the phone call.

Answering the phone
When there is an incoming call, press the<green handset> key → [Answer] inorder to answer the phone.
Press the <red handset> key, to reject/terminate a phone call.
Text messages
Sending SMS message
Select: [Menu] → [Messaging] → [Writemessage].
Enter the text using the alphanumerickeypad. The characters are entered letterby letter as the phone is not equipped

with a dictionary.
The key <#> is used to select betweendifferent writing modes. There are thefollowing modes available:
• ABC – only upper case letters
• abc – only lower case letters
• 123 – only digits.
In order to enter a special character, forexample: a dot, a comma or a hyphenetc., press the key <*> and select asymbol from the list or press the key <1>as many times as needed.To make a space between two words press
the key <0>.
An example of entering characters:
To enter letter „b”, press the „2” key33

twice. To enter letter „d”, press the „3”key once, etc.
After entering the text of a message,press the <green handset> key →[Options] → [Send to].
A list of options appears:
• [Enter number] – enter number byusing the numeric keypad <greenhandset> key → [Send],
• [Add from Phonebook] – when youselect this option, simply enter the firstfew letters of the contact name tosearch for it in the phone book. Select[OK], to confirm your choice. After entering the number / selecting acontact from phone book, select:[Options] → [Send], to send amessage.

Message displaying
Select: [Menu] → [Messaging] →[Inbox], select a message from the listand press the <green handset> key →[View], to read the message.
Phonebook in myPhone 1045/1082
Add new contact
To add new contact select: [Menu] →[Phonebook] → <UP>key→ [Add a newcontact]→<OK> key
Select a place for saving a contact (SIMor Phone). Then insert a contacts name[Options] → [Edit]) and phone number.
Press the <green handset> key →[Options] → [Save] to save a contact.

To move contacts between SIM card andPhone memory select: [Menu] →[Phonebook] → [OK] → [Add newcontact] → [Phonebook settings][Move contacts].
Search for contact
To search for contact, select: [Menu] →[Phonebook].
Enter first letter of contact`s name.
Contacts that start with this letter appearon the list. To search through thesecontacts simply use the navigation keys<up> and <down>.
After finding the desired contact and pressing the <green handset> key → [Options] it is possible to:

• [view] – see contacts details (nameand number).
• [Send text message] – send SMS.
• [Edit] – edit contacts details.
• [Delete] – delete contact.
• [Copy] – copy contact from SIM cardto Phone and conversely.
• [Phone book settings] – enteradditional options such as speed dial,memory status etc.
Delete contacts
To delete all contacts, select: [Menu] →[Phonebook] → [Add new contact] →[Options] → [Phonebook settings] →[Delete all contacts]

To delete single contact, select: [Menu]→ [Phonebook] → search for contactyou want to delete <green handset> →[Options] → [Delete].
3. Using advanced features
Call a contact from Phonebook
To establish connection with contact saved in [Phonebook] submenu performthe following steps:
In standby mode press the navigation key<up>.
Enter [Phonebook] submenu, andconfirm [OK] by pressing <greenhandset> key.
Search for contact on the list (by enteringthe name and contacts number), andestablish a phone call by pressing

<green handset> key and select [Call].
Missed calls
All missed calls are shown on phone`sdisplay.
A message about a missed call and anicon: , appears on display.
To check who called or to make a connection with missed number, do as follows:
Press [View] (with the <green handset>key).
The other way is a [Call centre]. Select[Menu] → [Call centre] → [Call history]→ [Missed calls].

To call a missed number press the<green handset> key → [Call].
Loudspeaker
During an active phone call press[Options] and select [H-Free/H-Held]from the list to activate Loudspeakermode.
Speed dial
Select option [Phonebook] → [Add newcontact] → [Phonebook settings] →[Speed dial].
The following list appears: [Status] and [Set number]. Using the green handset key set the [Status] to: On.

Select option [Set number]. On the leftside of display there are numbers thatcorrespond with keypad. With the use ofoption: [Options] → [Edit] → select fromPhonebook it is possible to assign acontact to a certain key [Speed dial key].After setting numbers select [Back], to goback to phone`s Menu.
To establish a connection press and hold (for about 3 seconds) the key on numeric keypad with assigned number.
International calls
In standby mode press the key <*> twiceuntil a sign „+” appears.
Enter a full number (country code, citycode and contact number) and press the<green handset> key, to make a phone

4. Other features
Date and time setting
To set date and time select the following option:
[Menu] → [Settings] → [Phonesettings] → [Time and date].
Select [Set time/date], confirm [OK] bypressing <green handset>.
Enter current date and confirm it [OK] bypressing <green handset> key.
Using the navigation key <down>, enter current date. Confirm bypressing <green handset> key.
In [Set format] option select the type ofdate and time you want to perform on

Language settings
To set or change the language select thefollowing option: [Menu] → [Settings] →[Phone settings] → [Language].
Select language from the list.
Display settings
[Menu] → [Settings] → [Phonesettings] → [Display]:
• [Wallpaper] → select [System] (if youwant to define system wallpaper) or[User defined] (if you want to addyour own wallpaper), then select oneof wallpapers available on the list. To

preview chosen wallpaper select[View]. To set the wallpaper select:[OK].
• [Power on display] → select[System] (if you want to browsesystem images) or [User defined] (ifyou want to add you own animation),select animation from the list. Topreview your choice, select [View]. To set the animation press: [View] →[OK].
• [Power off display] – proceedsimilarly to the above-described poweron display.
• [Show date and time] – disable /enable the date and time located onthe main screen.

Call settings
Call settings are available in [Menu] →[Call centre] → [Call settings]. Thefollowing settings are available: Blacklist,Auto redial, Call time reminder, Reject bySMS and Answer mode.
Alarm configuration
In main [Menu] select [Organizer].
Go to option [Alarm] by pressing [OK].
Select any item from the list and press[Edit].
Enter [Status] to enable or disable alarm.
Press navigation key <down>. It ispossible to set the time of the alarm using

the numeric keypad.
After pressing <down> key again youmay choose when you want the alarm togo off (once, every day, custom, etc.). Italso possible to set the alarm tone andalert type.
To confirm settings, select: [Save] →[OK]).
Calculator
In [Menu] mode select: [Organizer].
Select [Calculator] from the list using the <green handset> key.
Basic arithmetic operations can beperformed using the alphanumerickeyboard (typing numbers, digits).

To restore factory settings, select inMenu mode: [Settings] → [Restoresettings].

To activate the flashlight, slide up sidezipper . Slide it down to deactivate it.

Call history
There is an option [Call history] in yourphone. You can find it in [Menu] → [Callcentre] → [Call history]. It is possible tobrowse your calls register – missed calls,dialled calls, received calls etc. There arethe following options available insubmenu:
• Missed calls
• Dialled calls
• Received calls
• All calls
• Delete call logs

Tasks
There is a Tasks option available in yourphone. It is possible to add your own noteand save it in phones memory.
To add a new task, select: [Menu] →[Organizer] → [Tasks] → [Add].
You can enter text, select: <Subject>,press key No.5 and enter the text youwant to remember. Note length is amaximum 35 characters. You can alsoset the date and time ([Due time]).
Another option is [Alarm]. You mayenable or disable it.
To save the task, select with the <greenhandset> key: [Options] → [Save].
The alarm will start at the certain dateand time and remind us about the task.

Audio player
In [Multimedia] option there is an Audioplayer. It makes it possible to play MP3files saved on the memory card. Audiofiles should be saved on microSDmemory card in My Music folder – theywill automatically be added to a playlist inaudio player.
You can operate the player using thefollowing buttons:

oPlaylist auto generating – set to„Enable”
oRepeat – repeat recordings
oShuffle – enable or disable randomplaying
o Background playing – play inbackground.

FM radio in myPhone 1045/1082
Activating FM radio requires plugging inthe earphones. It really improves thequality of listening to a radio broadcast.Headphones plugged in act as anexternal antenna.
In Menu mode select option:[Multimedia] → [Radio FM], or simplyslide up the side FM slider.
Select: [Options] → [Auto search] →[Select] to search for available radiostations.
All available channels will be saved in [Channel list] folder.
Radio volume control is done by usingthe <+> and <-> keys located on the left
