application.

Once we have some details of the organisation and the project for which funding is sought, we are then able to

advise appropriately.

Surrey Community Foundation is building permanent funding for Surrey’s communities.

£1 million is available from the government if the Community Foundation can match this with a further £1 million raised from donors by 2011. This will increase the permanent funds by £2 million, with the income generated enabling grants to be awarded in perpetuity.

• Over £1 million government-funding is available in Surrey (2008-2011)

• For small voluntary led community groups, with an average annual income of less than £30,000which have been active for at least one year

• Grants of between £250 and £5,000 are available
