BuckleDesign: Tina Leung

BuckleBuckle is as an ambient lighting sculpture – it illuminates by bouncing light off its own internal surfaces and provides background light, it is neither a classic up or downlighter but produces a unqiue effect all of its own. The feeling it creates has often been likened to light bouncing off water.

FilletDesign: Innermost; Geeio Yuen and Chak Wong

Fillet SMALL

Fillet

FilletFillet was a project by Innermost studio lead by Geeio Yuen and Chak Wong.Fillet is deliberately subtle, a large piece with the most refined details that could be used either as a feature or as background. Its aesthetic comes from the sharp angles and the innovative aesthetic of the slatted diffuser. Both black and white finishes are matt and special colours can be created to order.

Jeeves & WoosterDesign: Jake Phipps

Jake Phipps graduated from John Makepeace’s furniture design school, Parnham College in 1999 and began designing and making one-off pieces to commission. In 2005 he set up his own design studio in London, concentrating on designing his own pieces for large scale production.

The Jeeves pendant light was designed as a playful take on lighting with a real sense of cultural identity. The hat is an object that often associates its wearer with a particular society, heritage or race. The Bowler is a classic British cultural icon reflecting a bygone era of imperialism, class divide and eccentricity.

HiHoDesign: Jarrod Lim

HiHoA fun yet stylish take on the traditional children’s rocking horse remade for grown-ups. Jarrod Lim designed Hi Ho so you can sit forward and really ride or alternatively turn around and sit back for a gentler comfortable rocking chair experience. Granny would approve.

Its practical too so it comes with a choice of synthetic fur or natural sheepskin and the covers are removable for dry cleaning just in case anyone gets too excited.

Our lawyers told us to mention that ‘it’s not a toy and not suitable for children’ but we thought that was a little unfair so we will be releasing a smaller version soon……

KoiDesign: Jarrod Lim

KoiKoi takes the simple repetitive form of a fish scale and turns it into both its aesthetic and structure. Each chair is handmade from steel then powder coated in a light ‘sand’ finish and

the seat is made from recycled teak wood.

Jarrod Lim was born and raised in Melbourne Australia and currently resides in Singapore where he runs his studio, focusing on furniture. Jarrod lived in Milan working for designer, Patricia Urquiola and in London for SCP before founding his own studio. His designs centre on the ‘human experiences’ often found in everyday objects and situations. His style is intuitive and very refined but always unique. Exploration of materials and processes, regularly feature in his designs and each piece has its own captivating story to tell.
